MENTORSHIP
A mentor is a licensed professional who takes an apprentice under their supervision and provides hands-on training in a salon/shop setting. The mentor or salon/shop owner must be willing to pay the apprentice a minimum of $10.50/hour in salons/shops with 25 employees or less or $11.00/hour in salons/shops with 26 employees or more with gradual increases per California Labor Laws.
